Told ya. More importantly, I held off because I knew there was a better way. I have tried my best at NVR vs. PoE. Then there’s the world of software for that. Now, I’m going to look at QNAP. My consideration are: would wi fi security cameras affect the speed of the internet ping?My son makes his living gaming. He doesn’t speak any other language. My main requirement is recording all motion and an easy time stamped access log of recorded motion on my pc. Real time
remote alerts and viewing is nice. I wouldn’t have to be home to send the police for an active event.
